The Oregon Convention Center is a convention center in Portland, Oregon.

The Oregon Convention Center is located on the east side of the Willamette River in the Lloyd District neighborhood. It is best known for the twin spire towers which provide light into the building's interior.

The building was designed by the architectural firm of Zimmer Gunsul Frasca Architects. It is the largest convention center in Oregon at nearly 1,000,000 square feet (93,000 m²). The complex includes 255,000 square feet (23,700 m²) of exhibit space. It features the largest ballroom in the City of Portland at 35,000 square feet (3,300 m²). The original building opened in 1990

Roland Smith (b. November 30, 1951 in Portland, Oregon) is an American author of young adult fiction as well as nonfiction books for children.

Smith graduated from Portland State University and, following a part-time job at the Oregon Zoo in Portland, began a 20-year career as a zookeeper, both at the Oregon Zoo and the Point Defiance Zoo in Tacoma, Washington. Tiffeny Carleen Milbrett (born October 23, 1972) is a women's soccer player who was a long time member of the United States women's national soccer team. She was born in Portland, Oregon and currently plays for the Linköpings FC in the Swedish Damallsvenskan, having transferred there from the Vancouver Whitecaps Women of the United Soccer Leagues W-League.
